This position is primarily responsible for performing clerical and physical duties involving receiving incoming yarn and beams for the Fabric Formation Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Verifies incoming / outgoing shipments all products daily Prepares, pull and stage creel pick list daily Does all repacks at the end of each completed creel Helps control all yarn and beam inventories (ensures proper storage and breakdown of containers) Controls the loading of waste/recyclables on trailer in the yarn warehouse Controls the movement of yarn cases and beams received on a daily basis Unloads and moves received yarn and beams to the proper storage area daily Label yarn cases and beams as needed Reports daily yarn inventory to PC Managing yarn end of lots. Manages FIFO at all times and on all job related products Maintains valid Forklift Driver's License Fills out Bill of Ladings (BOL's) for outgoing shipments Adheres to all safety (7S) and quality standards Cross-trains on other parts of department and fills in when needed Performs other duties as required to support department goals Maintains a safe and clean work area with 7S methods
QUALIFICATIONS
: High school degree or equivalent and 1-3 year work related experience in warehousing Yarn related warehouse experience preferred Must be computer literate Must be able to receive and maintain forklift certification Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment under high stress situations and time restraints. Must have the ability to multi-task and work well without close supervision Very important to have excellent written and verbal skills Must have high level mathematical ability, organizational and customer service skills and be able to make high and low level decisions and have strong analysis /problem solving skills

It will require a lot of standing, walking, use of hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to lift 75 lbs frequently.
