Apple Honda is looking for an energetic, dependable and ambitious person to join our Used Vehicle Department as a Used Vehicle Inventory Specialist . This is an entry-level position, but we are specifically interested in finding someone who wants the opportunity to learn the automotive business and grow with us . The right person can develop into greater responsibilities within our Used Vehicle Department, including a potential future opportunity as a Used Car Assistant . You do not need previous dealership experience. You do need a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will work directly with our Used Car Manager and help keep our used-vehicle operation organized, efficient and ready for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

Organize and maintain the used vehicle inventory Make sure vehicles are properly parked, displayed and ready for sale Move vehicles throughout the dealership as needed Assist with incoming trades and newly acquired vehicles Help track vehicles as they move through our inventory process Photograph vehicles for online merchandising and our website Help make sure vehicles are clean, presentable and properly displayed Assist with vehicle washing and preparation when necessary Support the Used Car Manager with day-to-day inventory responsibilities Help Sales and Service when needed Provide friendly, professional assistance to our customers Learn how a successful dealership's used-vehicle department operates

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who: Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record Is dependable and shows up ready to work Is comfortable driving different types of vehicles Is organized and pays attention to details Is comfortable using a smartphone, taking photos and learning technology Works with a sense of urgency Enjoys working as part of a team Treats customers and coworkers with hospitality and respect Takes pride in doing things correctly Wants to learn Wants an opportunity to advance Previous automotive experience is helpful, but not required .

THE OPPORTUNITY

We don't view this simply as a lot-attendant position. For the right person, this can be an opportunity to get your foot in the door of the automotive business and learn our Used Vehicle operation from the ground up. Someone who demonstrates reliability, initiative, organization, leadership potential and an ability to learn may have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and advance within the department. SCHEDULE

Full-time availability is preferred. Daytime and weekend availability will be required based upon dealership needs.
