POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting accurate and efficient inventory and warehouse operations. This role oversees kitting, receiving, retail and ad-hoc shipping, and cycle count activities while ensuring inventory records remain accurate and operational needs are met in a timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Kitting
- Coordinate and complete kitting activities according to established requirements.
- Pick, verify, assemble, and package inventory accurately.
- Ensure kits are completed and available according to required timelines.
- Identify and communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies. Receiving
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Inspect shipments for quantity and condition and identify discrepancies.
- Accurately record received inventory in the applicable system.
- Properly label, organize, and put away received inventory. Retail & Ad-Hoc Shipping
- Coordinate and process retail and ad-hoc shipments accurately and on schedule.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Ensure shipping documentation and system transactions are accurate.
- Coordinate special or time-sensitive shipping requests as needed.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies. Cycle Counts
- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Reconcile physical inventory against system records and investigate variances.
- Document and process inventory adjustments in accordance with company procedures.
- Identify recurring inventory discrepancies and communicate findings to management. Qualifications & Experience
- 2-4 years of inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or related experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, preferred. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift materials as required in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely handle inventory, packages, and shipping materials.
Pay:
$39,520.00 - $52,000.00 per year
