Job Description

Summary Everwood, is seeking a Reman laborer. This position will be responsible for building material from a list prepared by the plant manager to be shipped and affixing labels to packs of lumber. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
Observes all safety requirements, including Personal Protective Equipment. Stacks lumber or other wood products. Keeps reman area clean at all times, including staples, cross-outs, and any other damaged material. Load and unload lumber and timber from conveyors Measure and indicate cutting lines on lumber, timber, and finished goods. Maintain accurate record of job operations as well as up-to-date inventory. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials on completion of job operations. Sort and arrange lumber, timbers, and finished goods according to sizes and grades to allow for easy identification. Operate sawing equipment to make precise cuts. Utilize specialized equipment such as dry kilns in effectively drying lumber. Education and/or
Experience:
No prior experience or training. High School diploma preferred.
