The Claussen Group, LLC | Eagle Grove, Iowa Seasonal Temporary On-Call When the snow starts falling, we get to work! The Claussen Group is hiring dependable, hardworking Snow Removal Technicians to help keep residential and commercial properties clear and accessible this winter. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the results of your work, join our winter crew and earn $35 per hour worked . What You'll Do Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas using a shovel and/or snowblower. Apply salt or other de-icing materials as directed. Operate equipment safely and protect customer property. Work with your supervisor and crew to complete assigned properties. Care for company equipment and keep work areas safe. Schedule — Please Read Before Applying This seasonal, temporary position begins with the first snowfall . Work is weather dependent, and there are no guaranteed hours . You must be available to respond to snow events at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week , including overnight, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may be long, depending on snowfall and conditions. If you work another job, this position is not for you. What We're Looking For Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to report promptly when called for a snow event. Willingness to perform physically demanding work outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions. Ability to shovel, push equipment, bend, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds as needed. At least six months of previous snow removal experience. Reliable transportation to assigned work locations; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are preferred. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required.
