Join Our Team! The Town of Hamilton Water Utility is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a Utility Laborer / Operator . This position assists with the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Town's water treatment and distribution system while providing excellent service to our customers. Essential Duties

• Operate, maintain, and repair water distribution and treatment equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain water mains, valves, hydrants, and service lines.
• Read water meters and perform utility inspections.
• Operate trucks, equipment, and hand tools safely.
• Respond to water system emergencies, leaks, and service calls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service. Qualifications
• Valid driver's license required.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate tools and equipment.
• Basic computer, plumbing, and electrical knowledge are preferred.
• Ability to obtain required State certifications as assigned.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements This position requires frequent lifting, bending, climbing, walking, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
