Laborer - Grounds Department of Public Works Grade 5 / Union position with benefits Full-time, 40 hours per week

Range:

$22.20 to $23.32 per hour The Town of Norfolk Department of Public Works is seeking a highly motivated, full time, DPW Grounds Division skilled laborer. This position performs technical, skilled manual work mainly associated with tasks associated within the Grounds Division of the DPW, which includes the use of DPW vehicles, property, and specialized heavy equipment to complete procedural and maintenance activities. The position also requires times when working in another division is needed for various reasons. This position is required to work the hours of the DPW schedule as set forth in the union agreement for grounds employees while occasionally working overtime and Saturdays. This position also requires the successful candidate be available to work during emergency winter operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent. Successful applicants must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug test.

Requirements:
