Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver appliances to residential or commercial locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Assist with loading, unloading, and maneuvering heavy appliances using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies and hand trucks Install appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household or commercial units following schematics and installation guidelines Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical issues during installation or service calls using appropriate tools and diagnostic procedures Conduct thorough inspections of appliances before delivery to ensure proper functioning and identify potential repair needs Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of delivery or installation Maintain accurate delivery logs, report any damages or issues encountered during transit or setup, and ensure all safety standards are followed at all times Requirements Proven experience with delivery driving, field service work, or appliance delivery is highly preferred Experience operating company vehicles safely and confidently; valid driver's license required Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques for appliances and related systems Knowledge of appliance installation procedures including electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and refrigeration setup Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed instructions for repairs or installations Physical ability to lift heavy appliances repeatedly while maintaining safety standards; comfortable working in various environments including confined spaces Join us as an Appliance Delivery Driver/Helper where your technical skills meet energetic service!
