Overview We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. The Grain Facility Operator plays a key role in the Ag & Trading enterprise, supporting food and agricultural solutions by performing facility operations such as loading/unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars, handling grain piles, and conducting basic equipment maintenance. This role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety policies, and strong teamwork to ensure smooth operations in varied indoor and outdoor environments. Operators contribute to the safe, responsible, and sustainable movement of grains and oilseeds across the global supply chain.
Responsibilities:
Facility Operations:
Load/unload trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars; fill and reclaim grain ground piles; perform grain handling tasks.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent service and engage positively with team members and stakeholders.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; use PPE as required.
Work Environment:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in varied indoor/outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
Physical Duties:
Perform bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and working in elevated areas.
Administrative Support:
Complete other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
MUST HAVE
MUST have experience loading/unloading bulk transport, including trucks, rail cars, barges, or vessels. MUST be comfortable working at heights of 4 feet or above with no fear of heights. MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting throughout the shift. MUST be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures, heavy dust, and loud noise.
Shift Timing:
7.30 AM-7 PM Weekly schedule: M-S CH1
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have experience loading/unloading bulk transport such as trucks, rail cars, barges, or vessels?
