Seasonal Snow Removal Laborer - Shovelers & Snow Blower Operators (Elkhorn / Omaha Metro) About us Bumsted Brothers Landscape & Design is a local landscaping and snow removal company based in Elkhorn, serving the greater Omaha area. We're a relaxed crew to work with. No micromanaging and no corporate nonsense, just show up, work hard, and we'll take care of you. What the job is You'll be part of a snow removal crew clearing walks, driveways, and entrances at properties on our route. The work is hand shoveling and running snow blowers. This is a crew position only. You will not be driving company trucks. What a snow day looks like When snow is coming, we'll text you with a meet time The crew meets at our shop in Elkhorn and rides together in the company truck We work through the route property by property until everything is clear Shifts often start early in the morning or overnight so properties are cleared before people head out for the day Depending on the storm, a shift can be short or run long What to expect This is on-call, weather-dependent work. Some weeks will be busy and some will have no hours at all. It's physical. You'll be on your feet, lifting snow, pushing blowers, and walking in cold, wet conditions for extended periods. Storms don't care about weekends or holidays, so we need people who can come in when the snow does. What we're looking for Reliable people who answer the phone and show up when it snows. This is the most important part of the job.
