Lindsey Aggregates, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to assist with the daily operation and maintenance of our sand and gravel wash plant. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that involves working outdoors, monitoring plant operations, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with equipment repairs. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Responsibilities Assist with the daily operation of the sand and gravel wash plant. Monitor conveyor belts and plant equipment to ensure everything is operating properly. Perform routine maintenance, including greasing machinery and equipment. Fuel heavy equipment and machinery as needed. Shovel material, clean around conveyors, and maintain plant work areas. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment in the event of breakdowns. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assist with maintenance and repairs. Identify and report mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions. Help keep the wash plant running safely and efficiently. Perform other general labor and maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Must be physically capable of performing demanding labor, including lifting, bending, climbing, and shoveling. Basic mechanical knowledge and experience using hand and power tools preferred. Experience with heavy equipment, conveyor systems, or aggregate wash plants is a plus. Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to follow directions, work independently, and work as part of a team.
