Loads, unloads, and moves commercial parts, materials within or near warehouse yard, or work site
Essential Duties:
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain parts, materials or containers to be moved. Loads and unloads parts, materials onto or from pallets, with a forklift or by hand. Develops a loading plan to properly plan parts placement of orders. Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Moves parts and materials by using forklift or hand jack. Counts, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials according to orders. Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a forklift and cleans work area. Assembles crates to contain products such as machines or parts. Operates propane industrial truck or electric forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Fill in for driver's when needed. Manifesting Retread Tires Other tasks as assigned.

Experience:
No prior experience or training; Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
