This is a local/regional position with no overnight travel . Deliveries are within approximately 200 miles , and you'll return home after your route. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, operating a forklift, handling building materials, using basic tools, and—most importantly— experienced driving, backing, and maneuvering a truck with a long trailer. Responsibilities Pull lumber and building materials from the yard using provided pull lists Identify common lumber sizes such as 2×4, 2×6, 6×6, etc. Count and verify materials to ensure building-kit orders are complete Operate a forklift to move and load lumber, steel trusses, and other building materials Load and properly secure materials onto trailers Drive a truck pulling an approximately 26-ft trailer Deliver building kits to customers within approximately 200 miles Confidently back and maneuver a long trailer at residential, farm, and construction sites Assist with unloading materials when required Use common hand and power tools Keep the lumber yard, loading areas, and equipment organized Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries Help with general yard and warehouse duties when not making deliveries

Qualifications Required:

Valid driver's license with a good driving record Strong experience towing and backing long trailers Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work Able to read measurements and follow material/pull lists accurately Comfortable using common hand and power tools Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently

Preferred:

Forklift experience Lumber or building-material experience Construction, post-frame, pole-barn, or building-supply experience Familiarity with securing and transporting long or oversized building materials We can train the right person on our building-kit system, lumber, and materials. Trailer-driving experience is important for this position. Pay:
