Duties Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure efficient operations. Manage procurement and sourcing processes by negotiating with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle to plan shipments, track freight movements, and optimize transportation routes. Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or delays, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence. Oversee warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and support demand planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on category management, production planning, and trade compliance to align supply chain activities with business goals. Analyze data collected from SQL databases, spreadsheets, and Excel data analysis tools to generate actionable insights for continuous process enhancement. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics management, and inventory control. Proficiency in using ERP systems (such as AS400 or similar), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics tools like Tableau. Demonstrated skills in data collection, analysis skills, Excel data analysis, and SQL for reporting and decision-making purposes. Knowledge of international trade regulations, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight forwarding, shipping logistics, and trade compliance standards. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers while managing vendor relationships to optimize costs and service levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle manual handling tasks safely using forklift certification or experience with forklift operation preferred. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, customer service excellence, and stakeholder engagement.
