A rapidly growing apparel company specializing in import and domestic manufacturing is looking for an organized, proactive logistics professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and keeping shipments moving efficiently. Position Summary The Senior Logistics Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day coordination of domestic and international shipments from our overseas factories to our warehouses and customers. This role is office-based and works closely with production, customer service, sales, vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced apparel environment and enjoys taking ownership of the logistics process from purchase order through final delivery. Responsibilities Coordinate international ocean and air freight shipments Schedule domestic transportation and warehouse deliveries Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, and warehouses Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays Prepare and review shipping documentation including. Maintain shipment tracking and provide regular status updates Work closely with overseas office team members regarding shipping schedules Coordinate inbound inventory transfers and outbound customer shipments Manage routing guides and customer shipping requirements Review freight invoices and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain accurate logistics records within ERP and shipping systems Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce freight costs Support inventory planning and cross-functional communication with Production, Sales, and Customer Service Qualifications Required 5+ years of logistics, supply chain, or import/export coordination experience Strong understanding of shipping procedures and operations Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Ability to prioritize multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience in the apparel, textile, or consumer goods industry Familiarity with ERP systems such as ApparelMagic, WMS, or similar, Shopify Experience working with 3PL warehouses and fulfillment centers Knowledge of EDI and retailer routing guides Understanding of HTS classification and import/export compliance Bilingual (English/Chinese or English/Spanish) is a plus Bachelor's Degree What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Takes ownership and follows through on responsibilities Is highly organized and detail-oriented Communicates effectively with domestic and international partners Anticipates problems before they happen Works well independently while collaborating with multiple departments Has a continuous improvement mindset Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid holidays Paid vacation and sick leave Opportunities for career growth within a growing apparel company Supportive and collaborative team environment
