Job Title:
Distribution Associate - 2nd Shift Job Description Join a growing distribution team on 2nd shift, where you help ensure accurate order processing, careful packaging, and timely shipment of products in a clean, fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Process and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process and audit company products to align with specific customer needs and requirements. Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment. Ship orders to designated customer locations in a timely manner. Inspect products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. Collect cardboard and load it into the compactor to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Sort and count parts to support accurate inventory control. Support general warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, counting, and labeling as needed. Essential Skills Prior experience working in a warehouse environment. Experience with order picking and order processing. Experience with packing and packaging products for shipment. Experience with shipping and receiving activities. Experience with inventory handling and stock control. Ability to accurately count and sort parts and products. Experience with labeling products, boxes, or inventory. Familiarity with production-based work in a fast-paced setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfort working in a distribution or production-focused environment. Strong attention to detail when auditing orders and inspecting products. Ability to maintain organization while handling multiple tasks. Willingness to support various warehouse functions as needed. Reliability and consistency in meeting production and quality expectations. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
