Overview:

Supports daily warehouse operations by managing shipping and receiving transactions, verifying inventory and documentation, and coordinating freight movement. This role works closely with warehouse teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure shipments are accurate, on time, and handled safely.

Job Duties:

Process inbound receiving and outbound shipping transactions in the WMS. Verify freight, inventory, and paperwork against packing lists, bills of lading, and manifests. Coordinate cross-dock operations with warehouse teams, carriers, and 3PL providers. Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, and system issues. Maintain accurate shipping records, digital documentation, and photos of damaged or non-compliant shipments. Monitor warehouse and dock activity to ensure efficient and safe operations. Follow all safety procedures and assist with overtime or weekend coverage as needed.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, transportation, or cross-dock experience. Experience with WMS; Körber preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of shipping documents and experience working with carriers and 3PL providers. Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and around moving equipment. Why Advance Services?
