Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendants to join our dynamic team for both 1st and Mid shifts. In this vital role, you will manage the tool and materials inventory within our warehouse environment, ensuring efficient distribution, accurate tracking, and seamless operations. Your proactive approach will support production processes, optimize inventory control, and contribute to overall supply chain excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, safety-conscious workplace dedicated to continuous improvement and operational success. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and materials using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or SAP. Manage tool issuance and return processes, ensuring proper documentation and accountability for all items. Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits to identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions. Support process improvements by analyzing inventory data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to streamline stocking and materials handling procedures. Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or supply chain operations. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), and demand planning software (MRP). Ability to perform root cause analysis and participate in process improvement initiatives effectively. Forklift certification and experience operating heavy lifting equipment safely are required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
