Job Description

Position Description
Organizes, coordinates and schedules efficient, cost effective and timely production of manufactured products. Supports business unit through maintenance and analysis of cost data to ascertain variances and prepare reports.
Job Responsibilities Manages the Production Control database administration and monitoring of production reporting to ensure accuracy
Schedules manufactured finished goods and special orders
Assists with design, development and maintenance of programs for information sharing between manufacturing, engineering, purchasing and sales
Participates in the continual development of methods for improving scheduling procedures, increasing productivity and realizing cost reduction opportunities
Classifies labor, material and overhead costs to compute the unit cost of product or service
Records cost data for use by management in controlling expenditures
Conducts and analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports; compiles cost data for preparation of operating budgets
Analyzes actual costs vs. standard costs and prepares reports of variances
Prepares estimates of new or proposed product costs
Performs other duties as assigned Job Skills Requirements Comprehensive experience with financial analysis, cost accounting and auditing.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and MRP software (SAP).
Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with multiple departments throughout the organization (Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales).
Solid organizational skills and the ability to exercise judgment while handling multiple priorities
Good written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experienceExperience Requirements Minimum of 3 years related experience Physical & Environmental Requirements
