Job Description

A world leading manufacturer is seeking a qualified Logistics Specialist I to join their motivated team in Lancaster, PA. The Logistics Specialist I will assist the Lancaster facility logistics team by booking freight pickups and deliveries, tracking shipment statuses and report delays or carrier issues, verify and enter freight costs and shipment data, prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices, perform inventory receiving, transfers, and adjustments transactions in SAP, identify shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies and other critical logistics responsibilities as needed.
Pay Range:
$30-35/hr.
DOE Shift:
M-F 8am-4:30pm

Full Responsibilities:
Book freight pickups and deliveries against standard lead times and published rates. Track shipment status daily and report delays or carrier issues to the Logistics Manager. Enter and verify freight costs and shipment data; flag discrepancies for review. Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices) Perform inventory transactions in SAP including receiving, transfers, and adjustments. Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities. Identify shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies and report them for resolution. Populate recurring freight, delivery, and shipment reports from established templates. Collect and organize data needed for carrier performance and freight spend reviews.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Admin. Preferred 1 year of logistics, transportation, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain experience. Required Ability or experience using ERP system (SAP preferred). Required Experience or knowledge of freight documentation carrier websites, parcel systems, and shipment tracking tools. Required Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas). Required Must pass an initial background check and drug screening (including marijuana) #ST101
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
