Know Your Team:

UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities The Materials Tech position will perform a variety of routine tasks and functions to receive, ship, and distribute supplies to hospital departments, providing timely and accurate availability of required materials through adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Data entry experience.

Valid Driver's license.

One (1) year of related warehouse, inventory, or customer service experience.

Preferred Job Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).

Forklift certification.

Experience with the use of heavy equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, etc.

Ability to drive department-owned vehicles, including but not limited to a box truck.

Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced work environment.
