Job Description

It's more than a job Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Project Logistics Control Tower Specialist to join our Houston team. In this role, you will manage project shipments from planning and pricing through execution and invoicing, while serving as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders. We are looking for a hands-on professional with freight forwarding experience who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. ‎ How you create impact In this role, you will manage project shipments while ensuring operational excellence, financial accuracy, and exceptional customer service. Coordinate project shipments from pricing through execution and invoicing Serve as the primary contact for customers and key stakeholders Maintain accurate shipment documentation and system data Monitor operations and ensure compliance with customer requirements Collaborate with Chartering, Transport Engineering, and cross-functional teams Manage GP planning, accruals, and timely invoicing Promote a safety-first culture and report incidents as required Support project operations, including occasional after-hours or weekend activities when needed What we would like you to bring We are looking for a freight forwarding professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities. 2 years of freight forwarding experience (or 4+ years in lieu of a bachelor's degree) Experience coordinating international shipments across multiple transportation modes Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities Ability to manage operational and financial data accurately Team-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities Ability to work full-time on-site in Houston, TX This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
