Full-Time Position Summary We are looking for a Material Coordinator to support our Manufacturing and Pre-Weigh operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring raw materials are accurately picked, staged, delivered to the Pre-Weigh department, and returned to inventory after production. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, inventory control experience, strong computer skills, and hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift/reach truck. The ability to accurately perform inventory transactions in an ERP system is an important part of this position. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Key Responsibilities Pick and stage raw materials required for daily production and Pre-Weigh activities. Deliver raw materials to the Pre-Weigh department according to production schedules. Return unused raw materials to the proper inventory locations after production. Perform and document bin-to-bin inventory transfers in the ERP system. Ensure physical material movements match ERP inventory transactions. Verify material quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, and storage locations before moving materials. Accurately issue and return materials from inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Investigate and report inventory discrepancies. Operate a stand-up forklift/reach truck safely to move and store raw materials. Load, unload, transport, and properly stage materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas. Move heavy raw materials using appropriate material-handling equipment and safe lifting practices. Maintain organized raw material storage and staging areas. Follow
FIFO/FEFO
procedures and applicable material-handling requirements. Communicate with Pre-Weigh, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Scheduling teams regarding material requirements. Ensure materials are available when needed to prevent production delays. Follow all company safety, quality, GMP, and manufacturing procedures. Perform other material-handling and manufacturing support duties as needed. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling environment. Previous experience with inventory control and raw materials. Hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift/reach truck. Strong computer skills and ability to accurately perform transactions in an ERP, WMS, or inventory management system. Experience performing inventory transfers, receiving, issuing, or similar inventory transactions. Ability to accurately identify materials by item number, description, lot number, quantity, and location. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and follow production orders, material requests, and work instructions. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while also supporting a team. Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining an organized work environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in CPG, cosmetics, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar manufacturing environments. Experience with lot-controlled inventory. Experience supporting a Pre-Weigh, Batch, Compounding, or Production department. Forklift certification. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Fishbowl, or similar systems. Schedule & Availability Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Must have flexibility to work second shift when needed to support production requirements. Overtime may be required based on business and production needs. Occasional schedule changes may be necessary to support production priorities. What Success Looks Like The successful Material Coordinator will ensure that the right materials are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity so the Pre-Weigh and Manufacturing teams can operate without interruption. The person in this role must be equally comfortable working on the warehouse floor, operating a forklift, handling heavy raw materials, and working in the ERP system to keep inventory accurate.
Accuracy is critical:
every physical material movement should be reflected correctly in the ERP system. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and containers as required. Ability to safely move heavy raw materials using appropriate equipment, including a stand-up forklift/reach truck, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier materials with appropriate equipment or team assistance. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive material-handling tasks. Ability to safely work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
