Position Summary Vescent Technologies seeks a detail-oriented and highly motivated inventory analyst to join our team in Golden, Co. The candidate will support production and procurement by proactively managing inventory levels, material requirements, and inventory planning to ensure required materials are available to meet production needs. This role will focus on analyzing historical usage, production requirements, demand trends, vendor lead times, and ERP data to identify potential material shortages and inventory risk before they impact production. The inventory analyst will also help establish and optimize inventory planning parameters including min/max levels and reorder points, while identifying excess, slow moving, and obsolete inventory. The right candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with data to solve problems and make informed recommendations. This position will work closely with production, procurement, and engineering to improve inventory accuracy, optimize stocking levels, and support a more proactive, data-driven approach to inventory planning. Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels to support production needs
  • Identify potential shortages before they impact production
  • Maintain min/max levels, reorder points, and inventory planning parameters
  • Analyze usage and demand forecast material needs
  • Support procurement by identifying material needs and priorities
  • Monitor open purchase orders and expected delivery dates
  • Review BOM's and production requirements for planning accuracy
  • Identify excess, slow moving, and obsolete inventory
  • Provide inventory analysis and recommendations to management
  • Maintain non-stock and special-order material requirements with the sustaining engineer
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and KPIs
  • Work with production, procurement, and engineering to improve inventory accuracy and planning Required Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant inventory and materials planning experience
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory planning
  • Knowledge of min/max levels, reorder points, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with BOM's and production requirements
  • Proficiency in excel and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills Desirable Additional Skills
  • Experience with Acumatica or another manufacturing ERP system
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with electronics components and ESD safety practices Benefits
