Type:

full-time Job description: SUMMARY The Production Analyst plays a key role in optimizing production operations by analyzing cost efficiency, monitoring performance metrics, and managing data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems. This position provides actionable insights and detailed reports to inform strategic decisions and improve production workflows. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with technical expertise in production systems and tools.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
Production Cost Analysis:

Analyze production, labor, and material costs to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop cost models to enhance understanding of operational expenses. 2.

Inventory Management:

Ensure the accuracy of inventory records, including work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods. Perform root cause analyses for inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements. 3.

Advanced Reporting & Insights:

Create detailed reports on production efficiency, downtime, and material usage. Collaborate with management to present findings and develop improvement strategies. 4.

Performance Metrics Monitoring:

Track key production KPIs, such as throughput, yield, and downtime, to support continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with supervisors and technicians to address recurring bottlenecks. 5.

Quality Assurance Collaboration:

Support quality control by analyzing data related to off-spec inventory and production errors. Recommend corrective actions and process optimizations based on quality trends. 6.

System Optimization:

Oversee ERP/MRP data accuracy and help implement system updates or improvements. Serve as a liaison with IT to troubleshoot and refine production data processes. 7.

Continuous Improvement Projects:

Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Highlight certifications such as APICS (e.g., CPIM, CSCP), Lean Six Sigma, or data analytics tools as valued but not required.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, data visualization). Experience with ERP/MRP systems; familiarity with platforms such as SAP or Oracle is a plus. Knowledge of data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous. Attention to

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.

Communication Skills:
