POSITION SUMMARY
Our team actively procures, distributes, and manages the movement of energy commodities through truck, rail, and pipeline networks. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting both our commercial pricing and logistics operations. This role provides exposure to commodity markets, transportation management, supply chain operations, customer service, and energy trading fundamentals. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position where interns play an active role in supporting daily operations that contribute to the success of our business. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real world decision-making, and help ensure the efficient flow of products and information. Successful interns may have opportunities for future full-time employment with HTP Energy.
Additional responsibilities include:
Assist with internal price file creation, maintenance, and customer distribution Support pricing personnel with supplier sequencing, market analysis, and reporting Coordinate fuel and commodity movements via truck Monitor shipments and communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers Assist with inventory tracking, transaction auditing, and supply chain documentation Support customer account management activities by responding to inquiries, coordinating information, and maintaining customer records Analyze freight and supply economics to support decision-making Generate operational and commercial reports using Microsoft Excel and other business tools Support special projects related to logistics optimization, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency
LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY
Onsite position located at HTP Energy's headquarters in Onalaska, Wisconsin Flexible part-time schedule during the academic year (15-25 hours per week) Full-time schedule during summer months (40 hours per week) Internship duration and start dates may be adjusted based on academic schedules

ELIGIBILITY
The internship opportunity is open to students entering their junior or senior year of study pursuing degrees in disciplines align within business administration. Qualified sophomores are also encouraged to apply.
