We provide services such as utility excavation, horizontal directional drilling, auger boring, hydro-excavation, pipe fusion, and pipe-bursting to install and repair water, sewer, gas, electrical and communication utilities. Global Underground has built a reputation for completing complex, high profile underground utility installations and repairs with advanced technology and experienced crews. We are seeking a experienced and dedicated HDD Maxi Rig Foreman to join our team. A complete understanding of all drilling operations and an ability to efficiently manage the crew and drilling operations are necessary. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years' drilling experience on a 200k or larger drill rig. Supervisory experience would be an asset. Consistently prioritizes safety and treats everyone with respect and professionalism.
Experience and Requirements:
5 years' experience drilling and managing a 200k or larger HDD crew Experience with mud motors, jetting assemblies, mud pumps, wireline tracking, large HDD tooling design and fabrication This is a traveling position and will require you to be away from our Colorado Springs home base for extended periods of time. Managing the crew, site, the rig and ancillary equipment Job site set up and pre planning Promoting the existing high company standards of safety Communicate with inspectors and customers as required Performing equipment field maintenance as necessary Training employees as necessary Following an established plan and communicating changes with senior management Extensive knowledge in drilling fluid composition and cleaning systems Must be team oriented, detail oriented, focused, and a great communicator Ability to work 6 days per week and 12 hours per day Other Experience preferred: OSHA training Ability to put safety first 1st Aid / CPR Compensation & Benefits $40-$50 per hour depending on experience Advancement and Professional Growth opportunities Training for industry certifications (OSHA, Trench Shoring, CPR, etc.) 100% employer paid health insurance for employees and family contribution Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays 401(k) with 4% company match Boot and Prescription Safety Glass Allowance We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status protected by applicable law.
