Job Description

Job Summary Long Beach Bar Association Executive Director - Part-Time (Approximately 25 Hours/Week) The Long Beach Bar Association (LBBA) is seeking an organized, proactive part-time Executive Director to manage the Association's day-to-day operations and provide administrative support to its Board of Directors, sections, and committees.

This position is approximately 25 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours over time. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Long Beach and available to work in the office approximately three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage LBBA's day-to-day operations, membership services, communications, and administrative functions. Support the Board, section chairs, and committees with meetings, correspondence, programs, and organizational needs. Coordinate LBBA events, CLE programs, and other member activities. Administer the Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program. Maintain LBBA's membership portal, website, online directory, and monthly newsletter. Oversee basic financial administration and supervise administrative support staff. Serve as a primary point of contact for LBBA members and the public. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable with technology, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Experience with nonprofit or association administration, membership organizations, or event planning is preferred.
