Job Overview Position Summary The Board of Directors seeks a part-time Director who combines strategic vision, fundraising ability, and management skills. The Director will run the operations of the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage Board Committees
Manage Board making sure each committee is functioning effectively and providing deliverables.
Responsible for leading staff, managing budget, overseeing program development and implementation. Development opportunities Identify opportunities to expand our reach, impact, reputation, and brand and ensure that programs and initiatives align with the organization's mission Research funding sources by undertaking grant writing, donor cultivation, and fundraising events Responsible for Annual Appeal Enhance relationships with individual donors, philanthropic institutions, and community leaders. Marketing and Communications
Advance audience engagement, revenue growth, and ticket sales by developing, executing, and overseeing marketing initiatives.

Write newsletter
Manage speaker contracts and associated speaker arrangements
Work with existing marketing committee Financial and Operational Stewardship Administer the funds of the organization consistent with the Board approved budget Safeguard the organization's long-term financial sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Board Partnership Engage board members and Advisory Council to act as ambassadors, advisors, and advocates for the organization. Community Leadership Build partnerships with peer organizations, civic leaders, and institutions, with credibility and enthusiasm. Qualifications University or college degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Demonstrated leadership with a record of successful administrative, financial, marketing and fundraising experience. Knowledge of current challenges in the community served by the organization and opportunities relating to the organization's mission. Reporting Relationship The successful candidate will report to the organization's Board of Directors, with direction and communication as facilitated by its President. Working Environment The successful candidate will work remotely and will often work evenings when attending Board meetings and when representing the organization at public events. Compensation Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience. The position is an exempt, salaried position.
