Job Overview The Callaway County United Way Board of Directors is accepting applications for an Executive Director position. This is a 30-40 hours per week, salaried position. The starting salary range is $38,000 - $44,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The Callaway County United Way is a local charitable organization that raises and distributes funds to 8 non-profit agencies in Callaway County. The funds raised help these agencies provide necessary services to individuals in need within our community. The Executive Director of the Callaway County United Way is responsible for planning and implementing programs and events, working closely with the Board of Directors to create organizational policy, overseeing all bookkeeping and record keeping function, and facilitating an atmosphere of excellence in this small, but powerful organization. The Executive Director must always enthusiastically live out the mission of the Callaway County United Way which is to improve, consistently and measurably, the quality of life for all the people of Callaway County by raising and distributing funds, mobilizing community resources, and encouraging innovative solutions to the community's health and human service needs, while being aware of our environmental responsibilities. Salary Range:

Responsibilities Summary of Job Duties:

Work directly with CCUW's Board of Directors to carry out the agency's programs, goals, objectives, and policies. Design, market, and promote CCUW's programs, events, and services. Maintain and organize CCUW's financial records. This includes providing CCUW's CPA with appropriate financial records and distributing the CPA's monthly reports to the Board of Directors for review. Manage CCUW's resources within its budgetary guidelines. Public Relations activities, such as educating the community about CCUW, giving presentations, attending community meetings, and speaking to the media or outside organizations. Maintain CCUW's website and social media accounts. Plan and implement fundraising activities. Organize volunteers to help with CCUW events. The job duties listed above are not all-inclusive.
