Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Operations Analyst for one of our major financial services clients. This person will be a main point of contact for institutional clients and internal business partners on post-execution equity trade processing. They'll manage the institutional equity trade lifecycle from execution through settlement, covering trade matching, affirmation, exception resolution, and risk mitigation. The role works closely with Trading, Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and external market participants in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The typical day ends around 6:00-6:30pm, and candidates should be able to stay until 8:00pm at times.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing institutional equity trades from execution through final settlementAnswering client questions on trade status, settlement, affirmations, and exceptionsMonitoring and resolving unmatched trades, settlement breaks, fails, and trade discrepanciesWorking with custodians, prime brokers, counterparties, and clients to get trades settled on timeDoing root cause analysis on recurring exceptions and recommending process improvementsSupporting client onboarding, account maintenance, and settlement and fail exposure reporting Skills and Requirements Experience in institutional equities, trade support, middle office, client service, or settlement operationsStrong understanding of the institutional equity trade lifecycle (matching, affirmation, clearance, and settlement)Client-focused mindset with strong relationship management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on spotting and resolving riskAbility to manage multiple priorities and perform under strict deadlinesStrong attention to detail when handling high transaction volumesUnderstanding of operational risk, settlement risk, and trade exception managementAble to work independently and collaborate across global teamsKnowledge of DTCC, NSCC, DTC, Omgeo CTM, ALERT, SWIFT, and institutional settlement workflowsFamiliarity with FIX messaging, electronic trading platforms, and post-trade processingExperience supporting domestic and international equity marketsTrack record of finding process optimization and efficiency opportunitiesExposure to automation projects or strategic change programs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
