Operational Cost Analyst GE Vernova | Schenectady, NY Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in Excel? GE Vernova is looking for an Operational Cost Analyst to help manage logistics expenses, track costs, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Operational Cost Analyst

Pay :

$28

• $30/hr What You'll Do Track, analyze, and report logistics costs related to rail, ports, storage facilities, and transit yards.

Monitor transportation expenses and ensure accurate cost reporting. Use Excel and internal systems to maintain financial records, budgets, and cost trackers. Review invoices, identify discrepancies, and help resolve billing issues. Compare actual expenses against planned project budgets. Monitor daily rail, truck, and vessel transportation activities. Collaborate with Logistics, Finance, Sourcing, and Operations teams. Prepare reports and recommend ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Participate in weekly planning meetings and provide operational updates. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with financial data, reports, and multiple teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in financial, operational, or data analysis. Experience with cost tracking, budgeting, invoice reconciliation, or logistics operations. Ability to quickly learn new software and reporting systems. Why This Opportunity?
