This role is fully onsite in Fairfield, OH, operating on first shift. •This is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits!• As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for championing and driving the continuous improvement of high-impact operational processes and production systems. You'll serve as the key contact for smart factory solutions, oversee Kaizen and productivity initiatives , and ensure the sustainability of manufacturing plant processes, including front-end, core operations, and smart factory deployment. What You'll Be Doing Lead manufacturing plant-wide continuous improvement strategy from tendering to delivery Animate, challenge, and follow Kaizen events ; lead select initiatives to drive operational process enhancement Serve as the point of contact for smart factory solutions, working closely with IPM and global smart factory leaders on deployment in the plant Define and execute yearly productivity action plans to achieve Direct Labor Productivity targets, as well as implement manufacturing excellence concepts Manage current and future state Value Stream Mapping, report productivity results, and subsequently lead transversal actions to improve product lead time Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or a relevant field 4+ years of experience with production systems in industrial mechanical, electric assembly, and/or automotive manufacturing Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual management, Kaizen, etc. as well as Microsoft Office Advanced experience in Agile Methodologies and project management
