Full-time About the Company Mid Valley Auto Transport, Inc. is a California-based car hauling company specializing in auction-to-dealer, wholesale, and dealer-to-dealer vehicle transport. We operate a fleet of Class 8 tractors and multi-car carriers and are looking for a strong Operations Manager to run day-to-day operations and help take the company to the next level. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the daily running of our auto transport operation. This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership and growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the fleet Assign loads to company drivers and coordinate closely with dispatch Maintain strong, consistent communication with in-house drivers Sign on and develop new customer accounts (dealerships, auctions, wholesale) Work closely with the dispatcher and accounting department on load planning, billing, and operational reporting Monitor performance metrics (utilization, on-time delivery, empty miles, costs) Support

DOT/FMCSA

compliance and safety standards Identify process improvements and help scale the operation

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in trucking, auto transport, or logistics operations Experience managing drivers and assigning loads Proven ability (or strong desire) to develop new customer accounts Excellent communication skills with drivers and internal teams Self-starter who thrives in a smaller, growing company Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Auto transport / car hauling experience is a strong plus What We're Looking For Someone who can keep the operation running smoothly while actively helping grow the customer base and improve systems.
