The Operations Manager works closely with the Executive/Center Director, who leads licensing compliance, curriculum, and teacher development. Together, they maintain a safe, organized, welcoming environment for children, families, and staff. The ideal candidate combines childcare experience with sound judgment, strong staff leadership, and the ability to build reliable systems and follow through. Coordinate recruiting, interview scheduling, onboarding paperwork, and orientation to operational systems. Partner with the Executive/Center Director on staffing needs and onboarding; the Executive/Center Director leads instructional coaching and teacher development. Recommend hiring, formal disciplinary action, and other significant personnel decisions to the Executive Director. Review timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies before submitting them for payroll processing. Coordinate enrollment availability with classroom capacity, staffing, and program requirements. Maintain accurate enrollment and attendance records. Resolve routine family concerns independently using established policies and document follow-up. Purchase routine supplies and arrange approved services independently within established budgets and spending limits. Maintain inventory systems to reduce shortages, unnecessary purchases, and waste. Safety and Compliance Support Follow and reinforce established licensing, supervision, health, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
