Full Job Description Industrial Operations & Customer Support Manager Location:
Marion, IA Compensation:
$65,000-$85,000, based on experience A growing industrial equipment company is seeking an experienced Industrial Operations & Customer Support Manager to join its leadership team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, improving processes, and keeping operations running smoothly. If you have a background in industrial manufacturing, CNC equipment, automation, machinery, or technical service support, this could be an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact within a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customer support, identifying needs and coordinating solutions. Source, order, and track parts and materials to support customer requests and production. Manage inventory levels and purchasing activities. Coordinate customer orders from receipt through delivery. Work closely with production to ensure projects stay on schedule. Oversee receiving, shipping, and organization of inventory and materials. Assist with facility organization and day-to-day operational efficiency. Build strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with company leadership to support continued business growth. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, automation, CNC equipment, or a related industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand industrial equipment and troubleshoot customer needs. Experience with inventory management, purchasing, parts coordination, or production support. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Experience using ERP systems, inventory software, or order management systems. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, small business environment. Self-motivated with a hands-on, team-oriented leadership style.
