Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Operations who will be responsible for driving excellence across a fine‑dining, chef‑driven restaurant group. This individual is a hands‑on operator, a teacher‑leader, and a hospitality culture builder who elevates standards through coaching, modeling, and daily presence in the restaurants. The ideal candidate brings Michelin‑star restaurant experience, a Sommelier certification, and a deep understanding of refined service, culinary precision, and guest‑experience choreography with excellent organizational skills and time management skills. Qualifications Michelin‑star restaurant experience a plus (front‑of‑house leadership preferred). Sommelier certification or equivalent wine education. Minimum 3-5 years of multi‑unit fine‑dining leadership. Proven ability to lead through teaching, coaching, and hands‑on involvement. Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, labor, and cost systems. Exceptional communication, organizational, emotional intelligence, and team‑building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven, guest/team member focused environment. Experience with New Store openings. Proven GM development/accountability Disciplined self-manager — protects admin time, plans the week, strong organizational, time management skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across all locations, ensuring flawless execution of fine‑dining service standards. Partner closely with the Executive Chef to uphold menu integrity, pacing, and kitchen‑to‑service alignment. Implement systems that support elevated service, including table‑touch protocols, Tasting‑menu flow, and wine‑pairing integration. Weekly overview meetings and one on one with each GM. Lead by example through hands‑on floor presence, coaching teams during service. Proven GM developer Develop managers and staff through structured training, mentorship, and real‑time feedback. Build a culture of continuous learning, refinement, and professional growth. Conduct pre‑shift education sessions on service technique, wine, spirits, and guest recovery. Utilize Sommelier knowledge to support wine list development, pairings, and staff education. Apply experience from Michelin‑star environments to elevate service choreography, timing, and refinement. Train teams on elevated hospitality touchpoints, including silent service, synchronized delivery, and tableside techniques. Maintain a culture of precision, discipline, and guest‑focused anticipation. Own P&L performance, labor management, scheduling, cost controls, and revenue optimization. Inventory, ordering, vendor management, and quality assurance. Drive profitability without compromising fine‑dining standards or guest experience. Pay:
$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
