Job Description

Pop Daddy Snacks is a fast-growing, flavor-forward snack manufacturer known for bold snacks, and a people-first culture. We're seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead daily operations, drive accountability, and keep our business running safely, efficiently and in alignment with our core values. This position holds a seat on the Company Leadership Team and is the senior operational leader responsible for Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance—driving clarity, accountability, and consistent performance across all functions. What You'll Do Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all plant operations, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of pretzels, popcorn, and seasoning operations Maintain full compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and customer audit requirements Establish and reinforce accountability across multi-functional teams and leadership roles Improve OEE, reduce waste, strengthen training systems, and ensure processes are documented and followed Build and develop a cohesive, aligned leadership team that models Pop Daddy's core values Own the operational P&L and drive financial performance through labor efficiency, yield, throughput, and cost control Forecast capacity, labor needs, and capital requirements to support growth and scaling Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all shifts What Success Looks Like Production consistently meets demand with predictable throughput Food safety, quality, and regulatory standards are achieved every day Key operational metrics are met quarterly and trend positively Issues are identified early, resolved quickly, and prevented from recurring Processes are documented, trained, and followed across all departments and shifts A healthy, accountable, "WE, not me" culture is visible on the floor and within leadership interactions What You Bring 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or other regulated production environments Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and audit requirements Proven ability to lead and develop multi-department operations at scale Experience owning a P&L and making data-driven operational decisions Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills A commitment to building healthy teams, improving processes, and driving results Core Values

Fun, Flavorful, and Focused Pay:
$120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
