General Manager - Anytime Fitness | Ham Lake, MN Build a career in fitness while leading sales, supporting members, and growing your club. Anytime Fitness in Ham Lake is seeking an ambitious, personable General Manager who wants a long-term career in the fitness industry. This is a hands-on, sales-focused leadership position with responsibility for the club's daily operations, financial performance, member experience, and team development. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, confidently asking for the sale, and working toward measurable goals. You'll help prospective members take their first step, connect current members with coaching that supports their goals, and create a welcoming club culture that keeps people engaged. What You'll Do Drive membership and personal training sales: Respond to inquiries, follow up with leads, conduct club tours and consultations, recommend appropriate services, and close sales.

Own club performance:

Work toward monthly sales and revenue goals, track results, maintain accurate reporting, and take initiative to improve performance.

Build member relationships:

Welcome new members, communicate consistently, address concerns, and support member engagement and retention.

Lead and develop your team:

Set clear expectations, provide coaching and accountability, and help team members deliver a consistent, positive experience.

Support personal training:

Coach small and large group training sessions as needed, providing an encouraging environment for members of varying fitness levels.

Grow community connections:

Build local relationships, coordinate outreach and events, and generate referrals and new membership opportunities.

Manage daily operations:

Maintain member accounts, follow company procedures, and keep administrative responsibilities organized and up to date.

Maintain club standards:

Take an active role in keeping the club clean, welcoming, and well maintained, including identifying and communicating equipment needs. What We're Looking For Customer-facing experience and confidence initiating conversations, building relationships, and asking for the sale. A genuine interest in sales, with the motivation to meet goals and follow through consistently. Strong fitness knowledge, including an understanding of strength training, proper exercise technique, and safe equipment use. Familiarity with strength equipment, including free weights, resistance machines, and functional training equipment, with the ability to confidently guide members in their use. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds while performing duties such as handling weights and equipment. A desire to build a long-term career in fitness and grow into additional leadership responsibilities. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A positive, approachable personality paired with professionalism, integrity, and accountability. A coachable mindset and willingness to learn our sales process, systems, and training approach. A passion for helping people improve their health and confidence. Sales, management, or fitness industry experience preferred. Experience coaching small group personal training preferred.
