The Operations Director provides tactical leadership and operational oversight across deposit operations and loan administration, ensuring core efficiency, strict regulatory compliance, and alignment with bank strategy. 1. LMA (Leadership, Management, and Accountability) Leads, manages, and holds the Lead Deposit Operations and Lead Loan Administrator accountable to operational scorecards, accuracy benchmarks, and department targets. Drives team development, performance management, cross-functional training, and resource planning across all back-office operational and digital units. 2. Deposit Operations Oversight Oversees the deposit operations infrastructure, ensuring accurate execution of electronic funds processing (wires, ACH), Cash Management customer onboarding/technical setups, routine servicing, and exception handling. Manages routine system administration, ongoing application updates, and operational processing in alignment with bank policies and procedures. 3. Loan Administration Oversight Directs day-to-day loan administration, document preparation, booking, disbursement, and servicing to drive operational efficiency and ensure policy compliance and regulatory standards. Oversees lien perfection and document exception tracking while directing complex loan execution (SBA/FSA, participations) to optimize operational efficiency, ensure data integrity, and maintain audit readiness. 4. Process Automation & Operational Efficiency Drives the evaluation and integration of AI, automation tools, and system enhancements to take routine tasks off our team's plates, freeing them to focus on higher-value work that directly supports our core focus. Evaluates department workflow needs and collaborates with the Core Systems & Strategy Execution Director to ensure back-office teams have the right scalable tools and streamlined processes. 5. Operational Risk, Audit Governance & Quality Control Directs operational risk mitigation, fraud controls, and internal compliance protocols across deposit operations, loan administration, and digital delivery systems Serves as the primary operational liaison for internal/external audits and examinations, maintaining updated procedures, thorough recordkeeping, and rapid issue remediation. Skills Proven experience in management and operational leadership. Excellent project management skills with a focus on process improvement and strategic planning. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team development, team leadership, and managerial communication.
