We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day performance across manufacturing and distribution activities in Versailles, Missouri. This role is suited to a hands-on leader who can coordinate procurement strategy, strengthen operational efficiency, and support consistent output in a factory environment. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capability, commercial judgment, and practical experience managing teams, suppliers, and workflow in a production-driven setting.

Responsibilities:

Direct operational activities across manufacturing and distribution functions to support productivity, quality, and timely fulfillment. Guide purchasing efforts by reviewing demand, issuing orders, and aligning supply availability with business needs. Oversee procurement practices to improve vendor performance, control costs, and maintain continuity of materials and services. Lead contract discussions with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service commitments. Manage teams within plant and distribution environments, setting priorities and ensuring accountability for daily execution. Monitor workflow, inventory movement, and operational results to identify improvement opportunities and resolve bottlenecks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align production schedules, supply planning, and distribution requirements. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient factory operation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Proven leadership experience in an operations or management role within manufacturing or industrial environments. Background overseeing both factory operations and distribution center activities. Practical experience working in a production facility with a strong understanding of plant-based workflows. Knowledge of purchasing processes, including order placement, supplier coordination, and material planning. Demonstrated ability to manage procurement responsibilities and support strategic sourcing decisions. Experience negotiating supplier contracts and maintaining effective vendor relationships. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced operational settings.
