Operations Manager

Job Description

About the opportunity Fleet Clean provides mobile truck and fleet-washing services. Our NYC operation is seeking a dependable, hands-on Operations Manager to lead the team, organize daily operations, protect service quality, and keep customer commitments. You will work directly with our COO and lead the Route Manager and field team. This is a full-time employee management position. Key responsibilities People and accountability. Help recruit, select, onboard, train, and coach employees. Set clear expectations and address attendance, conduct, and performance issues within company policy. Scheduling and service delivery. Own the master service schedule, staffing coverage, route readiness, and completion of promised work. Coordinate with the Route Manager and resolve missed or delayed service. Quality and customer relationships. Verify service standards, investigate complaints, coordinate corrective work, and identify appropriate opportunities to expand customer service. Safety, vehicles, and equipment. Enforce safety, site, and wash-water recovery procedures. Coordinate maintenance, supplies, vehicle cleanliness, and key control. Cost control and productivity. Monitor labor, overtime, route efficiency, fuel, chemicals, and supplies. Review accurate time records and explain variances against operating targets. Records and follow-through. Keep customer addresses, contacts, service frequencies, unit counts, and job records accurate. Ensure required service photos and washout records are complete. Report results and unresolved issues to the COO. Qualifications Previous operations, field-service, or supervisory experience; demonstrated ability to lead crews, organize schedules, resolve problems, and hold people accountable. Comfortable using scheduling software, mobile job apps, and task-management tools. A valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements are required. Must be willing to work in the field, learn the washing process, and assist when needed. Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
