The salary range for this position is $85K to $90K per year depending on experience. Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and leadership in the delivery of outstanding guest experience, culinary operations, labor scheduling, inventory management, marketing, and profitability Plan, identify, communicate and delegate responsibilities throughout the area to ensure excellent operations are consistently achieved Assist in preparation of budget estimates and justifications for the food and nutrition services program and maintains cost controls Plan and direct the ordering, receiving and accounting of all food products, supplies and equipment for food operation Oversee an energetic and proactive approach to interviewing, selecting, training, counseling, disciplining and scheduling of all team members with a goal of always staying multiple steps ahead of turnover Create and lead presentations at client meetings Foster an atmosphere of teamwork that encourages staff to work collaboratively
Requirements:
Three or more years of management experience, inclusive of regular client interaction Campus catering background of development, setup and execution of large scale events A working practice and understanding of union and labor relations Strong operations background preferably including exposure to both school lunch and multi- unit functions Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams to achieve desired results Proficiency with financial aspects for the role, from budgeting to interpreting results and interacting with management team Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong working computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel Personal characteristics that include: self-motivation, high levels of energy and enthusiasm and positive attitude
