Develop people. Strengthen systems. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Operations Director to lead agency operations and strengthen the teams, policies, and systems that support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and dating violence. This is an opportunity for a trauma-informed leader with a proven ability to develop people, build effective systems, and turn mission into action.
A Strong Candidate Will:
Put survivor safety, dignity, choice, and well-being first in operational decision-making. Bring demonstrated experience developing, coaching, and supporting high-performing teams. Have a proven ability to create, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and operational processes. Lead with empathy, accountability, consistency, and transparency. Identify opportunities for improvement and turn them into practical solutions. Support high-quality, consistent, and compliant service delivery. Collaborate effectively with program leadership, staff, and community partners. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership, operations, or program management experience. Proven success in team development, supervision, coaching, and staff growth. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and organizational systems. Experience applying trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead effectively in a complex, mission-driven environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Preferred:
Experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, or other trauma; nonprofit operations; quality assurance; compliance; or organizational change. We're looking for someone who understands that strong operations are not just about processes - they're about creating the conditions for survivors to receive exceptional, compassionate care.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
