We are seeking an experienced, confident Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant operations and help drive increased production output, efficiency, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience in batching, blending, and/or packaging operations and a proven ability to build and develop strong teams. What You'll Do
- Lead and monitor daily plant operations, production processes, and workflow.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment while ensuring adherence to company standards and safety procedures.
- Manage production forecasting and scheduling to support optimal operating efficiency and appropriate inventory levels.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve throughput, productivity, and overall plant performance.
- Oversee shipments, incoming inventory, warehousing, and storage operations.
- Analyze production metrics and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and take corrective action when needed.
- Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of employees.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to support safe, reliable equipment and facility operations.
- Partner with employees and leadership across all levels of the organization to resolve issues quickly and keep operations on track. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in plant management, operations management, production management, or a similar manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and people-management skills.
- Experience in batching, blending, packaging, or related manufacturing operations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify practical solutions and act with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
