Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations to help lead and optimize our business functions. We already have a visionary leader - full of ideas, energy, and direction. Our team is strong and knows how to execute. What we need is someone to bridge the gap, turning the vision into a clear plan and galvanize the team to move on it. The right hand to the owner will have the humility to serve the team and the backbone to say the hard things when needed. Duties Meet with the owner routinely to define and prioritize plans and action steps. Communicate with and rally the team in a way that brings clarity to complexity, aligning people around priorities. Be the hub that is the center of communications between all departments Organize information so leaders can make better decisions. Improve systems and processes company-wide Manage projects, emails, calendars, and follow up. Handle confidential financial, personnel, and other strategic info. Hold people accountable in a kind and respectful manner by having direct but tactful conversations when needed. Protect team health by noticing when the team is overloaded, confused, or disengaged and address it before it becomes a bigger problem. Rally the team by building trust and momentum.
