About the Position Logan Medical Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking Assistant Manager / Operations & Strategy Manager who is ready to take their next step in their credit union career. The assistant manager is a key member of the credit union's leadership team and plays an important role in both the day-to-day operation of the credit union and the execution of its long-term strategic direction. You will work closely with the CEO and board of directors in executing your responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to play a significant role in the direction and daily success of a community-focused financial institution. The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in growing with the credit union and increasing in their management capacity at Logan Medical. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Business Development Assist in developing and maintaining the credit union's business plan. Translate initiatives into actionable projects. Prepare recommendations for presentation to the Board of Directors. Identify opportunities to improve products, services, technology, processes, and member experience through industry, competitor, and member research. Operations & Staff Leadership Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the credit union. Schedule staff and coordinate daily coverage to ensure efficient operations. Train, coach, and support employees in procedures, products, services, and operational responsibilities. Plan and lead staff meetings and assist with internal communication. Assist members with complex or escalated questions and account needs. Lending & Member Support Assist with loan approvals and provide an additional level of review when needed. Assist members with lending-related questions and more complex financial needs. Support the lending function during employee absences or periods of increased volume. Transaction Processing & Reconciliation Manage and balance ACH, debit card, and share draft processing. IRA processing and related reporting. Assist with teller transaction processing and balancing functions as needed. Project Management & Technology Implementation Serve as the primary internal coordinator between the credit union, core data processor, technology vendors, and other third-party partners. Research new products, services, and technologies and coordinate implementation. Qualifications We recognize that great candidates do not always fit neatly into a list of qualifications. Required:
Previous experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, especially Excel. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential financial and member information appropriately. Outgoing, friendly, and happy disposition.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field. Experience with core data processing systems. CMC Flex highly preferred. Experience with ACH, debit card, share draft processing. Lending experience. Experience with IRA processing. Experience with business planning, market research, or financial institution analysis. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience. Familiarity with credit union lending regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management. Familiarity with delivery channels such as mobile banking, shared branching, and ATM operations. Fluency in Spanish preferred
Salary:
Approximately $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Benefits Employer-Funded SEP IRA:
The credit union contributes 6% of the employee's monthly salary to a Simplified Employee Pension IRA. This is an employer-paid contribution and does not reduce the employee's paycheck.
Health Insurance Allowance:
A $365 monthly allowance is provided to help offset the cost of health insurance purchased through the individual marketplace.

Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
