Job Description

Director of Operations Indigo Innovations, Inc Provo, UT Job Details Full-time 5 hours ago Qualifications Logistics management Procedural guides Team leadership Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) implementation Education industry recruitment experience Task prioritization Leading team collaboration initiatives Operational excellence initiatives Academic program coordination Business operations Senior level Training Project leadership Standard operating procedures (SOPs) General management Event logistics coordination Under 1 year Full Job Description Full-Time Provo, Utah Full Time Director of Operations 9am - 5pm This is an in-person position at our Provo office. Remote and hybrid candidates will not be considered. Occasional weekend travel is required. Indigo Institute is a growing dental assisting education company providing accelerated, hands-on training for students entering the dental profession. We currently operate programs across multiple states and are looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to help lead our next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves building systems, solving problems, leading people, and turning ideas into action. You'll work directly with company leadership and take ownership of the many moving pieces behind our programs—from launching new classes and coordinating instructors to managing partner dental offices, improving processes, and making sure things simply get done. We're less concerned with a specific career path than finding the right kind of person. You are highly organized, an excellent communicator, comfortable leading people, and able to manage multiple priorities without needing someone else to keep you on track. You take ownership. You follow through. When you see something that needs to be done, you don't wait for someone to tell you to do it. Most importantly, you're comfortable building the plane while flying it. Indigo is growing quickly, and we need someone who enjoys creating structure, improving systems, adapting to change, and occasionally jumping in wherever needed. Experience in operations, education, healthcare, project management, training, or business management is preferred. Dental experience is a plus but not required. This isn't a narrowly defined corporate role. You'll have real responsibility, direct access to leadership, significant autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape how a growing company operates. If you're looking for a position where you can take ownership, build something, and see the direct impact of your work, we'd love to meet you. Benefits direct access to leadership significant autonomy opportunity to help shape how a growing company operates Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple programs and markets Coordinate new class launches, schedules, instructors, locations, supplies, and deadlines Recruit, onboard, schedule, and support instructors Manage relationships and logistics with partner dental offices Build and improve SOPs, workflows, checklists, and operational systems Track state requirements and other operational responsibilities Identify problems early and take ownership of solving them Work closely with leadership on expansion and new initiatives Travel occasionally, including some weekends, to support program launches, training, and operational needs
