Job Overview Point Forward Hospitality is seeking a highly visible, hands-on operational leader to oversee the daily operations of several of the condominium and timeshare associations at Wapato Point Resort. The Director of Association Operations is responsible for property readiness, owner and guest service, accountable staff performance, inventory control, maintenance coordination, vendor administration, and disciplined execution of operating projects. This position combines association operations with hospitality leadership. The successful candidate will be active in the field, maintain a strong onsite presence, develop supervisors and frontline employees, and ensure that commitments are assigned, tracked, completed, and verified. Primary Responsibilities Operational Leadership Direct day-to-day operations across multiple timeshare associations at Wapato Point Resort. Maintain an active, visible onsite presence and regularly inspect units, common areas, work sites, supply areas, and service points. Coordinate priorities among Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Desk or Guest Services, and Association Management. Identify operating risks, service gaps, and property-condition concerns and ensure timely assignment, escalation, and follow-through. Implement operating standards, procedures, and initiatives established with the Director of Operations. Maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with association representatives, owners, guests, employees, vendors, and contractors. Team Leadership, Delegation & Accountability Directly supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Maintenance Lead and oversee Front Desk or Guest Service operations as assigned. Lead a daily huddle to communicate priorities, assign work, clarify ownership, and identify obstacles. Conduct an end-of-day accountability review to confirm completion, document open items, and reset priorities. Delegate effectively while retaining visibility into progress, quality, deadlines, and results. Coach, train, and provide timely corrective feedback to supervisors and staff. Hold employees accountable respectfully and consistently, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Assist with recruiting, on-boarding, cross-training, scheduling, and employee development.
Oversee the Housekeeping Manager and support consistent unit cleanliness, inspection, readiness, and turnover performance. Maintain disciplined control of rooms operating supplies, linens, amenities, housekeeping materials, maintenance supplies, and other operating inventory. Establish and monitor practical par levels, replenishment points, storage standards, and inventory counts. Ensure supplies are available when needed while identifying over-ordering, waste, loss, and unexplained usage. Use inventory information to support planning and accountability, while enabling the Housekeeping Manager to perform routine monitoring and counts. Coordinate with outside housekeeping contractors when used and monitor service quality and operational readiness.
Maintenance Oversight & Property Readiness:
Maintain direct visibility into maintenance requests, work orders, preventative maintenance, unit-readiness issues, and deferred work. Ensure maintenance items are documented, prioritized, assigned, tracked, quality-checked, and closed. Coordinate vendor access, contractor scheduling, materials, and operational support for maintenance work. Escalate larger repairs, capital projects, significant expenditures, and higher-risk decisions to the Sr. Director of Operations for direction and approval. Maintain an accurate view of open work, dependencies, responsible parties, target dates, and completion status.
Project Tracking & Execution :
Maintain practical project and task trackers for operational initiatives across the associations. Provide concise status reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations and other stakeholders as requested. Identify stalled work early and take action to restore progress.
Vendor and Business Administration:
Maintain a current vendor list for each association, including contact information, service category, association serviced, certificates of insurance, and relevant operating notes. Coordinate vendor scheduling, access, communication, and onsite activity. Track vendor responsiveness, completion, and service concerns and elevate material issues. Coordinate activities with the accounting team, including invoice approvals, coding, submissions, and related vendor communications. Assist with obtaining proposals, bids, scopes, certificates, and supporting project documentation as directed.
Owner, Guest, and Front Desk Service:
Champion a responsive, professional service culture for owners and guests. Oversee or support the WPCA front desk program, ensuring personnel are informed, prepared, and ready to serve. Monitor owner and guest feedback, service recovery matters, and sentiment trends; identify recurring issues and corrective actions. Participate in the resolution of escalated concerns and ensure commitments are tracked through closure using appropriate property management systems and incident reporting procedures. Ensure teams understand and support the full hospitality guest cycle, including pre-arrival, arrival, stay, departure, and post-departure follow-up.
Qualifications Required:
Three or more years of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in hospitality, property operations, facilities, association management, or a related environment. Demonstrated ability to supervise department leaders, delegate work, and hold teams accountable for measurable results. Strong organization, task management, project tracking, and follow-through skills. Experience coordinating maintenance work, vendors, operational priorities, and srvice issues. Working knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, replenishment, and operating-supply management. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional customer-service approach. Ability to remain calm, resilient, and constructive when handling pressure, conflict, under-performance, and changing priorities. Ability to be consistently present onsite and to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including weekends, holidays, high-occupancy periods, and emergencies. Valid driver license and ability to travel locally as operationally required. Primary residence within approximately 30 minutes of Wapato Point Resort in Manson, WA, and ability to appear at the property on short notice in the event of an urgent need.
Preferred:
Condominium association, timeshare, resort, hotel, HOA, or multi-property operations experience. Bilingual English and Spanish capability. Property management system and work-order or maintenance-tracking system experience. Experience leading customer-service training and monitoring owner and guest feedback. Experience working with governing boards, association representative, or owner groups.

Timely completion and reliable documentation of assigned tasks and projects. Accurate inventory levels, appropriate replenishment, and reduced waste or supply disruption. Responsive owner and guest service and effective resolution of recurring concerns. Current vendor information and organized vendor coordination by association. Effective development and supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, Maintenance Lead, and service teams. Concise, dependable communication with the Sr. Director of Operations and association stakeholders.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This is an onsite operating role that requires regular movement throughout condominium units, common areas, storage spaces, offices, and maintenance work areas. The employee must be able to inspect work, access operating areas, use standard office and mobile technology, and respond to property needs in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
