DHL eCommerce is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily distribution center operations involving the processing and movement of mail and small parcels. This role is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring operational performance, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting efficient movement of shipments throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has experience leading frontline teams in a warehouse, distribution, mail, parcel, or similar production environment and is committed to driving productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise employees involved in mail and small parcel processing, transportation, and quality operations. Assign work, establish priorities, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Manage employee performance through coaching, training, performance reviews, and ongoing development. Monitor staffing levels by department and shift based on operational volume and business needs. Review productivity, quality, and KPI reports and take corrective action when performance targets are not met. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Help maintain compliance with DHL safety policies, employee training requirements, and operational procedures. Ensure facility equipment is functioning properly and meeting production standards. Partner with Human Resources during recruiting and interview activities for new hires. Serve as a liaison with on-site postal clerks and remain informed of postal regulatory and rate changes. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, fairness, and employee involvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered, candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements and possess the skills necessary to perform the job: High School Diploma or GED. Two (2) years of supervisory experience or one (1) year of DHL eCommerce Operations Trainer/Quality experience. Two (2) years of experience working in a distribution, warehouse, mail processing, parcel, logistics, or similar operational environment. Knowledge of operational quality and workplace safety programs. Ability to lead employees, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Understanding of small parcel logistics operations. Experience improving operational quality and safety performance. Experience implementing process improvement methodologies, including 5S. Experience driving production improvements and automation utilization. Skills for

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Regularly walk throughout the distribution center to support and supervise operations. Frequently work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, dust, noise, and changing lighting conditions. May be required to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with assistance when necessary.
